Q: How to assemble the inner ring and roller-cage assembly of a double-row tapered roller bearing?
A: 1. Insert the roller into the cage with the small diameter facing downward. A support ring can be used to prevent the roller from falling out again. See Figure 1.

2. Place the inner ring into the roller-cage assembly while rotating all parts. See Figures 2 and 3.

3. Manually secure the roller cage assembly to the outer rib. For larger bearings, the required force may be significant, so a screwdriver may be required.
